Every great team needs a mascot. At Pictures Plus, we have Jack. Sure the vet says he’s “vertically challenged” but that’s okay for a standard bred dachshund, with a little bit of spaniel thrown in for good measure.
Jack was born on a cold November day and came to us the following June through the local puppy pound ( Animal Rescue League). While all the other dogs were hard cases we just knew that Jack had been framed. Look at those innocent eyes! So what better mascot for a framing business than a dog who knew a good frame when he saw one.
That first day we took him to a nature park for a walk. Before long he was nose to nose with a new friend with a fluffy tail and long ears. He wanted to play. His new friend took off like a …. Well, that’s why we decided to call him Jack.
Since then Jack comes to Pictures Plus every day to greet our customers, play with the children, and generally help give us a warm friendly atmosphere that you just won’t find in a big box chain store. Sometimes he’s out back checking the inventory, other times at the assembly tables on quality control inspection. Like the rest of the team, Jack is there to give you a framing experience you’ll remember. And make some new friends in the process.
When he isn’t working Jack loves to swim, play ball and go for long walks. But, being a sensitive and kind hearted guy sometimes he just wants to cuddle.
