Ray Butler was born in Grand Falls, N.B. but has spent most of his life in and around Saint John, N.B.

His works portraying “old Saint John” and his sketches of the port and harbour areas are always in demand. These and others of his works hang in collections and private homes across Canada, the U.S., Europe and the Orient.

Carl McKinnon is a photographer living in Saint John, N.B. and has been creating a series of custom black and white winter images of the Saint John area since 1984.

Carl feels that the black and white photo lends itself naturally to the quietness, beauty and tranquility of the winter season.
