 Started in 1984, Pictures Plus Custom Framing Limited was a basic framing and print shop, located in an uptown mall on the edge of Saint John’s historic heritage preservation district.
The shop was purchased in 1989 by its current owner Diana Alexander. Wasting no time Diana moved the shop to a larger location. The new location brought more traffic allowing the focus of the business to shift to more museum quality work, and creative custom framing solutions, designed specifically to meet customers needs.
 In the ensuing years Pictures Plus continued to grow and build a reputation for both the quality of its work and community involvement. It has provided educational seminars, sponsored visual art competitions and performing arts festivals, and has supported various charitable organizations. In 1993 the Province of New Brunswick presented Pictures Plus with the Downtown Achievement Award in recognition of its contributions to the economic life of the city core.
Pictures Plus today is currently located on King Street. With an experienced staff, including one of the region’s only Certified Picture Framers, a complete line of up to date equipment, and a huge selection of framing materials, Pictures Plus provides quality service to both individual and commercial accounts.
